  • Will I have to pay extra for working with Slate Debt?
    No, we do not charge our customers anything for enrolling with us.
  • Can I cancel after I sign up with Slate Debt?
    Yes, you can cancel anytime. We make it super easy to cancel: you can email, call, or text us at anytime.
  • How long does this process take?
    Typically, your enrollment is done online and can be done in a few minutes. Our team will immediately reach out to your lenders and start working on your account. If you are able to afford the settlement amount, you can choose to pay off immediately in 1 payment OR you can choose to pay a small amount every month. So, we leave it entirely up to the customer. We can move as fast or as slow as you'd like.
  • Can you make my payday lender stop debiting my account?
    YES! - Once you sign up with Slate Debt, we will work on your behalf to revoke any ACH authorizations you have with the lender while we negotiate.
  • Will my lender continue to call me?
    After you enroll with us, we send what is known as a "Cease and Desist" letter on your behalf to all of the lenders you have shared with us. This means that the lender has to go through us to communicate with you regarding any outstanding balances.
